Headwaters Fly Fishers Meetings
April 1st
HWFF Meeting is at the regular meeting location – Grantree
Fly Tying Hour – 6:30 to 7:30pm with meeting starting at 7:30pm
The speaker for the April meeting will be
Josh Stanish.
Most of you know Josh - he is one of the most knowledgeable anglers in this area. He has been outfitting for a number of years and his in-depth knowledge of the big local hatches - the Blue Wing Olive, the Mother's Day caddis, the Salmon Fly, the molting Crawfish of the lower Madison, etc. is legendary. He will be building a presentation for us from his large selection of slides. Josh also spends time outfitting//guiding on the Bighorn River and no doubt he will have some photography and something to say about this fishery. His presentation comes at a great time because the trout fishing season is fast approaching and there is no better brain to pick than Josh's. While we may have lost track of the complete fishing cycle that is approaching I suspect that Josh will help put us back in the game and rev-up our juices for the up-coming season.
